H'ble Vice Chancellor, Prof G Nageswara Rao, inaugurated our Alumni Web-site on 17th September, 2016 during the brief function organised by the Alumni Association in the conference hall of AU Engineering College. Prof E.A Narayana, Rector, Prof V.Uma Maheswara Rao, Registrar and Prof P.S Avadhani, Principal. A.U.College of Engineering. along with members of ALUMNI participated in the brief function. Vice chancellor congratulated the alumni for bringing out a commendable website.

Students want to pursue their passions. They have goals. a better life for themselves and their families and hence they are focussed. I see Andhra University as a “rising star” in mission-oriented research and innovation in INDIA which puts STUDENTS at the forefront of that mission Making a difference in the Life of Every Student” is the Priority of my administration, hence I look forward to a deep engagement with Students, Industry, Faculty, and Community to position Andhra university as the national leader in delivering value to the students and offering a transformative educational and life experience.

Gottapu Sasibhushanarao is a Senior Professor of ECE who obtained his Ph.D. from Osmania University, Hyderabad. He took over as the principal of Andhra University College of Engineering on 17th March, 2023. In addition to his teaching experience of more than 18 years, he has rare industrial experience spanning 17 years. He has published over 540 research papers in reputed journals, authored five text books, and several book chapters and supervised 50 Ph.D. theses. Additionally he holds three patents to his credit and has successfully completed nine research projects. He has also authored several book chapters in internationally reputed text books.
